Zen Studio
Zen Studio is the free Windows app used to load scripts onto your Cronus Zen. You cannot use a Mac, Chromebook, or phone to load scripts. Use a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.

How to Download & Install
- 1Go to the Official Cronus Downloads Page.
- 2Download the latest version of Zen Studio.
- 3Open the downloaded file and run the installer.
- 4Plug the long mini-USB cable into the Right Port (PROG) of your Zen, then plug the other end into your PC.
- 5Open Zen Studio. It should show Device Connected near the bottom.
How to Use Zen Studio
- Compiler Tab: Drag and drop your script files (.gpc) here. Click Compile to check the script for errors.
- Programmer Tab: This shows your 8 memory slots. Drag a compiled script from the Compiler tab into a slot, then click Play (Program Device) on the left side to save it to the Zen.
- Device Panel: Make sure your Emulator Output Protocol matches your console, such as PS4/PS5 for PlayStation or Xbox for Xbox.
Do I need my PC while playing?
No. Once you save scripts to the Zen, they stay on the Zen. You can unplug the Zen from your PC, plug it into your console, and play. You only need the PC when you want to change or update scripts.
